Western Red Cedar (Slabs & Tabletops)

Western Red Cedar, Thuja plicata (Slabs & Tabletops) has reddish to pinkish brown heartwood, often with random streaks and bands of darker red/brown areas; pale yellowish white narrow sapwood. WRC has a straight grain and a medium to coarse texture. Easy to work with both hand or machine tools; Glues and finishes well.
